Collection: Dog Bed Covers

A cover for the bed they already has, or a second one so the bed is never out of use on wash day. Fit is the whole question here. Size names mean different things between makers, so the numbers on your own bed — length, width and depth — are what to match, not the word on the label.

Measuring before ordering

Measure the bed itself in all three directions and compare those numbers with the product page. A cover slightly too large wrinkles and bunches under the dog as they turns; one slightly too small will not close over the fill at all, and there is no way to stretch it later.

Washable and waterproof are two different things

A removable cover solves cleaning. A coated or tightly woven synthetic surface is what stops liquid reaching the fill underneath. Some covers do both, and the product page states which of the two it is rather than using the words interchangeably.

On a cover coming off every week, the zip fails before the fabric does. One running along more than a single side takes less strain and is far easier to work over the corners.
