Collection: Washable Dog Beds

Dog beds get dirty in a way a quick brush-down does not fix. A cover that unzips and goes in the machine is what keeps one pleasant to have in the room six months on. Washable here means the cover comes off — whether the filling can be washed too is a separate thing, listed per bed.

Cover only, or the whole bed

On most beds it is the cover. Foam and thick fill hold water, take days to dry all the way through, and can break down inside if they are soaked repeatedly. Smaller fibre-filled beds sometimes go in whole, and the product page says which case applies to that bed.

What decides how often

A dog that is outside a lot, a puppy, or an older dog all shorten the interval, and none of that is unusual. A spare cover is what makes a weekly wash realistic, because the bed stays in use while the other one dries.

The care label decides the temperature. A hot wash shrinks covers, and a shrunk cover will not go back over the fill.
