Before you pick a size
Measure your dog from nose to the base of the tail while it is lying stretched out, then add 6–8 in (15–20 cm). That is the sleeping length you need. Between two sizes, take the bigger one.

A quilted coverlet in deep burgundy with an embossed diamond-and-vine lattice, for a bed or sofa your dog shares with you.
- Embossed, not printed. The lattice is pressed into the cloth, so washing does not fade it out.
- It lies flat instead of draping. Two faces joined as one piece, so it does not ruck into folds.
- Droplets sit on the surface. It is water-resistant rather than waterproof, which is the difference worth knowing at 3am.
- The whole coverlet washes. Into the machine in one piece, with nothing to reassemble.

Six sizes, 30 x 30 in (76 x 76 cm) up to 83 x 102 in (210 x 260 cm). These are bed sizes, so measure the mattress rather than the dog.

Every size is listed in inches, with centimetres in brackets right after. Where a bed has raised sides, the inside sleeping area is smaller than the outside dimensions.
Measure your dog nose to tail lying down and add about 6 in (15 cm). If they sleep curled, a smaller round bed can work. If they sprawl, size up.
