01

Orders & Shipping

How long does shipping take?

Standard orders, snuffle mats, lick pads, slow feeders, leashes, harnesses, take 7–15 business days to arrive within the US after processing.

Custom products (hoodies, aprons, tumblers) take 10–20 business days total because they're made to order after you upload your photo.

All orders ship free, no minimum purchase required.

How much does shipping cost?

Nothing. Every order ships free within the United States, regardless of size.

Do you ship internationally?

Not yet. We currently ship within the United States only. If you're outside the US and interested in our products, email us at support@furmind.co, we're tracking demand and will announce international shipping here when it's available.

How do I track my order?

Once your order ships, you'll get a confirmation email with a tracking number and a link. Click the link to see your package's current status.

If your tracking hasn't updated for more than 10 business days, something's off, email us and we'll look into it directly with the carrier.

My package says "delivered" but I don't have it. What now?

Email us at support@furmind.co within 7 days of the "delivered" status. Include your order number and, if possible, a screenshot of the tracking page.

We'll investigate with the carrier and either reship your order or issue a full refund, you don't have to fight USPS or UPS on your own.

02

Returns & Refunds

My item arrived damaged. What do I do?

Email support@furmind.co within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a photo showing the damage.

We'll send a free replacement or issue a full refund, your choice. You don't need to ship the damaged item back; keep it, donate it, or toss it.

I don't love my product. Can I return it?

Yes. If a physical product isn't working for you, email us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the item. We'll review your request and work out the best path, replacement, store credit, or another arrangement depending on your situation.

We don't run a blanket "100% satisfaction guarantee" because those are usually marketing theater with a dozen conditions. Instead, we read every email and respond like humans.

How long do refunds take to process?

Once approved, refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method. Your bank or card provider may take additional time to reflect the refund on your statement, that's on their end.

Can I return a custom product (hoodie, apron, tumbler)?

Only if it arrives damaged or with a printing defect. Because custom products are made using the photo you uploaded, each one is unique, we can't resell a returned item.

If your custom item has a print defect, email us a photo within 14 days and we'll remake and reship it at no cost.

03

Product Safety & Materials

Are your lick pads and slow feeders food-safe?

Yes. Our lick pads use LFGB-certified silicone (European food-grade standard) and our slow feeders are BPA-free. Both are safe for direct food contact, wet food, peanut butter, yogurt, kibble, anything dogs normally eat.

They're also dishwasher-safe, which matters because the food-grade rating only holds up if you can actually clean them properly.

Will my dog chew through your products?

Our products are enrichment tools, not chew toys. They're built to withstand normal use, foraging, licking, slow eating, walking, but a determined destructive chewer will eventually destroy anything that isn't an actual chew toy.

Supervise your dog the first few uses. If they start trying to shred or eat the product itself (rather than use it as intended), remove it and reach out, we may be able to recommend a better-suited tool for their chewing style.

Is the harness safe for puppies / senior dogs?

The Y-shape harness is specifically designed to distribute pressure across the sternum rather than the throat, which makes it safer for dogs of all ages compared to traditional flat collars or T-harnesses. It has front and back clip points and adjusts in four places for a custom fit.

For very small puppies (under 1.5kg) the XXXS size fits teacup breeds. For senior dogs with mobility or joint issues, consult your vet first, we're not in a position to diagnose or recommend around specific medical conditions.

Are your products "vet-recommended"?

No, and we don't claim to be. No vet has officially endorsed FURMIND, and we're not going to pretend otherwise.

What we do is read research papers on canine biomechanics, enrichment, and behavior, then apply those findings to product design. That's not the same thing as a clinical endorsement. If your dog has a serious behavioral or medical issue, see a certified veterinarian or behaviorist, a snuffle mat isn't going to fix it.

04

Sizing & Fit

How do I measure my dog for a harness?

Wrap a soft tape measure around the widest part of the ribcage, just behind the front legs. Add 2cm for comfort. If you're between sizes, go up.

The harness product page has a full size chart (XXXS–XXL) with chest measurements, weight ranges, and example breeds for each size. If you're still unsure, email us your dog's breed and weight, we'll tell you exactly which size to order.

Which snuffle mat size should I pick?

The snuffle mat comes in four sizes: Large, Medium, Small, and Mini. Smaller dogs (under 8kg) generally do well with the Mini or Small. Medium to large dogs (8–25kg) typically need the Medium or Large for a satisfying foraging session.

Bigger isn't always better, it's about matching the amount of foraging area to how long you want the session to last. A Large mat with a full cup of kibble spread across it can easily take 20 minutes for a dog to fully work through.

The harness I ordered doesn't fit. Can I exchange it?

Yes. Email us within 14 days with a photo of your dog wearing the harness and we'll send the correct size at no extra cost.

The photo helps us confirm the fit issue (too loose, too tight, too short in the chest, etc.) and recommend the right size on the first try.

What size hoodie / apron / tumbler should I order?

Hoodies run in standard US unisex sizing (S–3XL) and fit true to size. If you're between sizes, size up for a relaxed fit.

Aprons are typically one-size and adjustable. Tumblers come in 12oz, 20oz, and 30oz, 20oz is the most popular for everyday use.

Exact measurements are on each product page. Still unsure? Email us with your preference (fitted / relaxed / oversized) and we'll recommend.

Training Guides (eBooks)

How do I get the free training guide?

Every physical product in our enrichment and walking collections comes with a paired training guide. When you place your order, the guide is delivered instantly via email, you don't have to wait for the physical product to arrive.

Check your inbox within an hour of ordering. If you don't see it, check your spam folder, then email us.

Which guide comes with which product?

Each tool is paired with one specific guide:

  • Snuffle Mat → The Boredom Cure
  • Lick Pad → The Anxiety Toolkit
  • Slow Feeder → The Healthy Eating Reset
  • Zero Shock Leash → The Walk Fix
  • No-Pull Harness → The Safe Walk Guide

The guide for each product is the one we think best extends the value of that tool, they're not generic filler, they're specific protocols tied to each product.

Can I buy a training guide without the product?

We also offer two standalone digital guides: the Calm Cue System (for off-leash calm) and the 3-Week Puppy Nipping Plan. These are available as direct digital purchases.

The product-paired guides (Boredom Cure, Anxiety Toolkit, etc.) are complimentary bonuses, they're not sold separately because they're designed to work alongside the specific tool.

What format are the guides in?

PDF. You can read them on any phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop. No app to download, no account to create, no subscription, no expiration. Once the PDF is in your inbox, it's yours forever.

You can use each guide on up to 3 personal devices belonging to you.

I never got my training guide email. What do I do?

First, check your spam / junk / promotions folder, shipping confirmation emails sometimes land there.

If it's still missing after an hour, email support@furmind.co with your order number and we'll resend it manually within 24 hours (usually much faster).

06

Custom & Personalized Products

How do I upload my dog's photo for a custom product?

On the product page for any custom item (hoodie, apron, tumbler), there's a photo upload field above the Add to Cart button. Click it, select your photo, and submit.

Best results come from clear, well-lit photos with your dog facing the camera. The higher resolution, the better the print.

What file types can I upload?

JPG, PNG, and WebP files up to 10MB each. Most phone photos work fine. If you're sending a cropped or edited version, keep the resolution as high as possible, blurry source files produce blurry prints.

Can I add text or extra details to my custom order?

Some custom products have an optional "special instructions" field on the product page where you can add text or specific requests. For anything more complex (multiple dogs, specific crop, particular background), email us at support@furmind.co before ordering and we'll confirm what's possible.

How long do custom products take to arrive?

Custom products take 3–5 business days for production after you order, then 7–15 business days for shipping. Total: 10–20 business days from order to delivery.

During peak seasons (holidays, Black Friday), production can run a bit longer. Plan ahead for gifts.

07

Using Our Products

How do I use a snuffle mat for the first time?

Start simple. Sprinkle a small amount of your dog's regular kibble across the mat's surface, about a quarter of their usual meal portion. Let them discover it on their own. Most dogs figure it out within a minute.

Once they get the hang of it, you can use the mat to deliver full meals, which turns a 60-second feeding into a 10–15 minute foraging session. That's mentally equivalent to a much longer walk.

The full step-by-step protocol is in The Boredom Cure guide that comes with every snuffle mat order.

How do I use a lick pad?

Spread a thin layer of something lickable, dog-safe peanut butter, plain yogurt, wet food, softened kibble, across the textured surface. For longer-lasting calm, freeze the pad for 30–60 minutes before giving it to your dog.

Use it before stressful events (bath time, nail trims, thunderstorms, vet visits) rather than during, the idea is to build the calming association in advance.

Full protocol in The Anxiety Toolkit guide.

How do I wash and maintain the products?

Lick pads and slow feeders are dishwasher-safe on the top rack. Snuffle mats can be machine-washed on a gentle cycle and air-dried; check the specific product page for care instructions.

Harnesses and leashes: hand-wash with mild soap, air-dry. Avoid high heat.

Custom products (hoodies, aprons, tumblers): inside-out wash in cold water, line dry or tumble dry low. Never iron directly over the printed area.

How long will my dog need to use these tools before I see results?

Depends on the tool and the dog, but most of our training guides are structured around a 2–5 week protocol, with small daily changes you should notice within the first week.

For enrichment tools (snuffle mats, slow feeders), the effect is usually immediate, dogs eat slower and seem more satisfied after the first session. For behavioral change (anxiety, pulling), expect 2–4 weeks of consistent practice before you see durable results.

We're not selling magic. If you're looking for a 24-hour fix, there isn't one, not here, not anywhere.

08

Account & Privacy

Do I need to create an account to order?

No. You can check out as a guest. Creating an account is optional and only useful if you plan to order again, it saves your shipping address and order history so you don't have to re-enter everything.

How do you handle my personal information?

We use your information to process orders, deliver training guides, respond to support requests, and (if you opt in) send marketing emails. That's it.

We don't sell your data. We share it only with service providers who need it to do their job, Shopify for checkout and hosting, CJ Dropshipping or Printful for fulfillment, Klaviyo for email, and analytics tools like Google and Meta. Each of these has their own privacy policy.

Full details in our Privacy Policy.

How do I unsubscribe from marketing emails?

Click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email. You'll still get transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping updates, training guide delivery) because those aren't promotional, they're required for us to actually fulfill your order.

If you want your data fully deleted, email support@furmind.co and we'll handle it.

09

Company & Support

Who runs FURMIND?

FURMIND is a small operation run under Addition Labs LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. The same person who designs the products writes the training guides, answers customer emails, and handles orders.

There's no team of 30. There's no warehouse full of dog influencers. There's one founder who reads every email and cares about whether the product actually worked for your dog.

How quickly do you respond to emails?

Within 24 hours on business days, usually much faster. Every email at support@furmind.co is read and answered by a real person, not a bot, not a template reply, not an outsourced support agent reading from a script.

If your question requires research (sizing help, training recommendations for a specific situation), we take the time to actually think about it before replying.

Can I talk to you on the phone?

We don't run a phone support line. Email is more efficient for us, it lets us keep records of every conversation, attach photos, and think carefully before responding. It also lets us help more customers per day.

If you have a question that's genuinely too complex for email, mention it in your message and we'll figure out the best way to sort it out.

My dog has a serious behavioral issue. Can FURMIND help?

Probably not. If your dog has a history of biting, severe aggression, trauma, or neurological symptoms, you need a certified behaviorist or veterinary behaviorist, not a snuffle mat and a PDF.

Our tools are designed for everyday enrichment, training, and calm-building. They work well for bored dogs, mildly anxious dogs, dogs who pull on leash, and dogs who inhale meals. They're not a substitute for clinical behavioral intervention.

We'd rather tell you that upfront than sell you something that won't help.

Still have a question?

Couldn't find what you're looking for? Email us directly, a real person will read your message and write back within 24 hours, usually much faster.
