Before you pick a size
Measure your dog from nose to the base of the tail while it is lying stretched out, then add 6–8 in (15–20 cm). That is the sleeping length you need. Between two sizes, take the bigger one.

A round donut bed with one continuous ring wall in long shag, soft rather than firm, for a dog that leans into the edge.
- The wall is soft, not firm. It gives under a leaning dog rather than holding them off.
- Fluff it by hand. A resting dog flattens one side and puts its head there. That is the bed working, not failing.
- No seam at the base. The ring wall is a single piece, so there is no join where it meets the base.
- Dotted underneath. That is what keeps a round bed from traveling on a hard floor.
What size should I get?
Six diameters, 16 in (40 cm) up to 39 in (100 cm), measured on the outside. The ring takes about a quarter of that, so between two sizes take the bigger one.

Size and fit
Size and fit
Every size is listed in inches, with centimetres in brackets right after. Where a bed has raised sides, the inside sleeping area is smaller than the outside dimensions.
Measure your dog nose to tail lying down and add about 6 in (15 cm). If they sleep curled, a smaller round bed can work. If they sprawl, size up.
