Measure your dog from nose to the base of the tail while it is lying stretched out, then add 6–8 in (15–20 cm). That is the sleeping length you need. Between two sizes, take the bigger one.

An oval dog sofa bed in matte corduroy, with a scalloped rim to lean on and a tufted cushion in the middle.
- A step down, not a climb. The front sits lower than the sides, so an older dog does not have to think about it.
- Piping holds the wavy edge. Without it a shaped rim goes soft and loses the shape it was made for.
- The cushion is point-tufted. Line quilting flattens the middle. Point tucks let it stay puffed where your dog lies.
- One fabric throughout. Rim and cushion are the same matte corduroy.
What size should I get?
Four sizes, 19.7 x 15.0 in (50 x 38 cm) up to 43.3 x 27.6 in (110 x 70 cm). The outside measurement includes the rim, so measure your dog against the inner panel and size up when in doubt.

Every size is listed in inches, with centimetres in brackets right after. Where a bed has raised sides, the inside sleeping area is smaller than the outside dimensions.
Measure your dog nose to tail lying down and add about 6 in (15 cm). If they sleep curled, a smaller round bed can work. If they sprawl, size up.

A matte fine-wale corduroy over the whole bed, so the rim and the cushion are the same cloth. The scallops in the rim are seams, not padding, that is why the wall stays soft to lean on.
