Before you pick a size

Measure your dog from nose to the base of the tail while it is lying stretched out, then add 6–8 in (15–20 cm). That is the sleeping length you need. Between two sizes, take the bigger one.

A cool-touch ice silk mat for dogs that seek out the tile floor in summer, with one end rolled into a fixed headrest.

  • Cool by contact, with no gel inside. Nothing to freeze and nothing to puncture.
  • The bolster is fixed. A loose roll gets dragged into the middle and slept on sideways. This one cannot move.
  • Open on the other three sides. A dog that sprawls can hang a leg off any edge without meeting a wall.
  • Three channels keep contact. The fill stays even, so the cool surface touches your dog everywhere rather than in patches.

What size should I get?

Two sizes, 16 x 24 in (40 x 60 cm) and 24 x 31 in (60 x 80 cm). Measure your dog lying stretched out.

Free shipping in the US. Arrived damaged? We replace it or refund you, nothing to send back. Changed your mind? Email us within 30 days for a discount code toward your next order.

Size and fit

Every size is listed in inches, with centimetres in brackets right after. Where a bed has raised sides, the inside sleeping area is smaller than the outside dimensions.

Measure your dog nose to tail lying down and add about 6 in (15 cm). If they sleep curled, a smaller round bed can work. If they sprawl, size up.

What it is made of

A cool-touch ice-silk face with one end rolled into a fixed bolster. The bolster is sewn in rather than loose, so it stays a headrest instead of becoming a cushion the dog pushes off.

  • Ice-silk cool-touch surface
  • Fixed bolster roll at one end
  • Contrast piping along the edge
  • Two sizes, 16 × 24 in (40 × 60 cm) and 24 × 31 in (60 × 80 cm)

Care and washing

Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent, press the water out and let it air dry. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.

I bought it thinking I would share it if I didn't use it, but I end up using the yellow one a lot... I keep my head on the pillow side and use it very well. It's worth the purchase~.

Questions before you buy

What if I pick the wrong size?

The 30-day guarantee covers it. The size selector lists inches first, with centimetres in brackets, so you can check against your dog before ordering.

What if my dog will not use it?

Most refusals are shape, not quality. A dog who leans on furniture wants a rim. A dog who lies flat in the middle of the room wants a flat mat. Put the new bed where the old sleeping spot was rather than somewhere new.

Is it chew proof?

No dog bed is chew proof, including this one. A determined chewer will get through any of them. Bite-resistant fabric slows it down; it does not stop it.

Does it smell when it arrives?

Compressed foam usually carries a smell for the first two or three days. Unpack it and leave it in an aired room; it goes.
